WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
It truly depends on your program! I would recommend resistance bands as a start. They are very versatile and are suitable for all levels. Additional equipment is not necessary but is always a plus.
DO YOU OFFER NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND A DIET PLAN?
Part of the benefit of your program is having nutritional coaching. I do not create meal plans, I teach intuitive eating. This means you will learn to substitute for healthier choices, learn portion control, how to balance your plate, and more. This will help you create a lifetime habit of nutritional choices.
HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR TRAINER AT A GYM?
The beauty of an online program is that you can take it with you anywhere. Unlike a trainer at a gym, I am available through the app 24/7 to answer your questions and keep you accountable outside the gym. Additionally, you don't have to work around my schedule, you can do workouts when you have the time!
DO YOU OFFER 1:1 COACHING?
All my coaching is personal! Whether you're in a program or working with me 1:1, I ALWAYS work directly with clients. My programs aren't just something you buy and do on your own. I coach every single client through all steps of the process! For those that want even more accountability and support, I offer 1:1 coaching sessions as an add-on to my programs, as well as custom coaching for 6 & 12 months after your program if you choose to continue. *I will always recommend going through a program first before beginning 1:1 coaching with me. I want you to have the tools to lay a solid foundation before even working more closely and intensely together!
WHICH PROGRAM SHOULD I DO?
These are not one-size-fits-all programs, so the best way to decide what's going to bring you the most benefit is to apply here, and based off your application I will make a recommendation for you! I can't wait to work with you!
DO I NEED EQUIPMENT OR A GYM MEMBERSHIP TO PARTICIPATE?
No! But if you have either, that is always great too! My programs were initially created for people who want to make fitness a priority but may not have the time or resources (like the gym) to get it done on their own. I have a variety of at-home and equipment-free workouts.
WHAT IF I HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION THAT PREVENTS ME FROM DOING CERTAIN MOVEMENTS?
When you sign up, you will be sent a form so I can gather pertinent information, such as contraindications, so I can make alternative suggestions for your program. I work with all types of populations from medical conditions to pregnant women or postpartum. If necessary I can also work with your healthcare provider to create an appropriate program.
HOW DOES THE ONLINE TRAINING ACTUALLY WORK?
After we do a consultation and assessment, I send you your program through my app. The app allows us to keep in contact, let me see your progress, periodize your program, make necessary changes, and it is very user-friendly for clients. The workouts are put into a calendar, and you simply "check in" for each workout when you're ready. The workouts have written instructions as well as video for each movement, and if you have any questions or concerns you can leave notes on your workout so I can make changes as necessary. Accountability is a HUGE part of how I coach! For more details on what that looks like, check here to learn more about the programs.
WHAT IF I MISS A FEW WORKOUTS?
I get it, life happens! If you ever miss a workout, you can move the workout to a new date in the calendar. Try not to double up or skip ahead. Your progression is designed specifically over time, so keep in order! If you ever have any scheduling questions or concerns you can always message me in the app.
CAN I CONNECT MY FIT BIT OR APPLE WATCH?
The app is designed to be integrated with several sites and devices. FitBit, Facebook, MyFitnessPal and others included! This will help me see things like your heart rate and specific information about your workouts.
WHAT IF I DON'T FINISH MY PROGRAM IN 12 WEEKS?
While the program is "paced" for 12 weeks in the flow of things, it is entirely self-paced! Which means, even if you join, you only get 1/4 way through the coursework, but still attend the coaching calls and utilize our time together as well as you can, you will easily feel change! Keep in mind that there's no time-limit on progress. Some people go slower than others, and that's ok! You will have lifetime access to your coursework so you can not only finish it at your pace, you can repeat it as many times as you want.
HOW LONG WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO MY WORKOUT PLAN?
This all depends on what program you're doing. Those that are in my 12 week programs will get lifetime access to the coursework, and 12 weeks access to coaching, workouts, and group training. WHAT IS THE COST OF YOUR PROGRAMS?
Typically before we discuss cost, I will have you apply to make sure we are a good fit to work together. My programs start at $199 weekly depending on what type of program you're doing, if you're getting additional support, etc. *Payment plans also available for certain programs. Please inquire directly before or during your consult for further information.
WHY DO I NEED TO "APPLY?"
There's a couple reasons for this: First, I know my programs aren't for everyone, and that's okay! I make sure every single client is going to benefit from my style and my approach. Secondly, since all my clients work with me directly, I want to get to know you first before we work together. Lastly, I want to help you decide which approach is the best fit for you before you invest in a program or coaching.
